I've added the 15" reverse hinged level 2 base to the cart about 10 times over the last year or so but can't get the wife to ok the cost. I will have to watch hbt for the next deal as i don't use facebook. After that i can finally move to allgrain.

Down to about 8 bottles. Really smoothed out on the oak. Make sure to keep it at cellar or at least a constant temp though. Moved recently and the temp spikes of temporary storage gave a little off but still tastes great. Next batch bottle conditioning until dec 2013

Yum yum yum... Brewed march of 2012. Just now tasting it and im glad i waited. 2 oz. pure bourbon vanilla extract & 20 oz makers mark really make the beer. Cant wait to do version #3

Well tasting day was Saturday. A couple big bottles and i was useless for the night. Damn good stuff. Looking forward to brewing again. Named mine the " Caribbean Shipwreck"

Well this recipe is getting me to transition away from extract. Safe lazy extract. How dare you! Ordered supplies today. Got a hop blend to substitute the citra. Looking forward to this beer.

I just brewed up a cream ale tonight. Im patient so will be first week of july but yeah it could be done for june.

+1 My first batch was a saturday. Left sunday. Turned out good. Still agreethough. Should wait to pitch.

Can do what i do with new styles. Buy two 750 bottles of that style. Drink one while brewing and the other after tasting your finished bottle/keg. Compare. Edit: i must have slow internet!

Bottled my second batch a few weeks ago. . Soaked bourbon, oak, & vanilla for 1 month. Added it to secondary for 1 month. Will wait till Dec to try it (8 months bottle condition). So excited. Hope i can wait that long. Might do a bourbon imperial stout next time and bump to 9+ abv
