    Confused... racking bottling

So if the beer is done, I put in the sugar/water mix and put the cap back on and let it sit in the bucket for another 3 weeks? I won't be bottling for another month?

    Confused... racking bottling

Ok. So if I am reading this correctly. I take my reading, if it is done I move it to the secondary bucket and prime and let it sit in that bucket for an extended period of time?

    Confused... racking bottling

lol... I said mort... yes I meant wort. How much water should I use to dissolve sugar? Can I use a hydrometer in a regular glass or a tall pilsner glass? What should it read? It was in the primary for almost 8 days. No more bubbles coming out of the air lock for a couple days now.

    Confused... racking bottling

My mort is done and it is in the primary bucket. Do I put it into the secondary bucket, add sugar, mix, then immediately bottle? First timer here.

    Mississippi Beer Brewing Laws??

Since when are good Mississippi and Alabama folk worrying about what the law thinks about brewing at home!

So, I put my whole arm in the wort...

Looks like I got my grommet Popped last night as well. My first batch ever. Put the cap on the bucket, I went to slide in the airlock then POP! Down goes the grommet to the deep. I went and scrubbed my arm, dried it with a clean white towel and went fishing. So far so good.

    Moving Carboy

I was foolish pitching early. No patience. I'll do better next time. Stuck wort? Can I move the fermentation bucket to a cool water tub?

    Moving Carboy

I've started my first batch (Summer Wheat) and after reading some of this forum it would seem that the temperature in my place may be a little too warm. It runs in the mid and low 70's since it is summer. Can I move the brew bucket (carboy it is called?) to a bathtub of cool water as it is...

First Brew! Scared i might have messed up.

Whew... I just started my first brew (Summer Wheat) and pitched at 80. It seems like I should be ok after reading this. My apartment is running in the 70 degree range. Can I move my brew bucket into a bathtub of cool water now so it can stay cooler?
