Getting married Jan 31st, what should I brew for my groomsmen?

Are you brewing it as a gift or something to drink during the wedding? I brewed a rye saison for my groomsmen as a take home gift. It was a special beer for them because it was a first for me, I tend to stick to hoppy beers and stouts.

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

Looks like it says Alsatian to me (a region in Germany I think.) Its likely either a house blend from the shop you got it from or a renamed bulk blend. Looks like what dan said.

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

Awesome, I love some of the emojis on the pipe forum. I started with pipes about 7 years ago but soon switched to cigarettes with an occasional bowl. I quit cigarettes about a year ago and came full circle back to the pipes that I loved so much, and it was literally after reading through this...

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

This thread led me down a slippery slope. I joined a pipe forum, acquired a ton of pipes and a tobacco, and learning how to restore old pipes. Thanks!

Congrats to you too! The 45 gallons came at a considerable sacrifice, no Homebrew for me for about 3 months. But I sure drank my fair share of it at the wedding.

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

That's probably some sort of filter. I would take it out and try it as long as it doesn't seem like it's an integral piece of the pipe.

    Gettin married

So the wedding went very well and everybody that drank the Homebrew loved it. We had a bartender who was a friend of ours pour the Homebrew, which was all bottled. We also had a few notes about how to properly pour it in case anyone just snatched some. We also had liquor, wine, and BMC so I...

    Brewery sitcom may be coming

I'm not trying to be an ass, but the show is a sitcom based on sam and his wife and the brewery. It may suck, but it's not a reality show.

    Old Timer Sayings

While working with my boss' 78 year old plumber dad, whenever we fix a leak at a farm help house or any place where we don't have to be absolutely perfect: well, ain't nothin pourin out. He also says good enough for the girls I go with, which seems to be a more popular saying than I thought.
