disregard my last post. I figured it out. My club has done hop bursting before but we didn't know the terminology. We did it to get rid of the resiny texture to big IPAs. Worked pretty good.

What is hop bursting? There's a local brewery around here that advertises hop bursting. I was thinking it was just a gimmick like 'triple hopped.' I'm familiar with FWH.

New job. Merchandiser for local craft brew distributor. Point Blank Distributing.

Normally, I wouldn't post a new job here on the forums but I got a job in the beer industry. I'm a merchandiser for Point Blank. It's a small craft beer distributor that specializes in local stuff. Love the job so far. Yea, I'm basically a glorified stock boy but I still love it.

I still go there to drink the beer. I just don't order food there anymore.

I know of several people that have gotten sick from Green Dragon's food. Used to be a spot I recommended. Not anymore though.

I second the notion of using pie pumpkins. The regular carving jack o lanterns have hardly any color or flavor. The meat in pie pumpkins is a much more pronounced orange. So I prepare my pumpkins by cutting them up into ice cube sized pieces. I place those on a cookie sheet w/rim. Bake them...
