    Ginger Snap Brown Ale.

Tasted my iced oatmeal sweet stout for the first time this weekend. If anything, it tastes like I used peanutbutter cookies... odd, but I'll roll with it. Peanut butter & chocolate stout, anybody?

    Ginger Snap Brown Ale.

You guys have officially inspired me! Today I'm brewing up a batch of adx's left hand milk stout clone and throwing some iced oatmeal cookies in the mash tun. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Plight for Pliny

I agree. I work in a liquor store and any time we get a case it's gone within the day. I mean, it is good... but not that good. These customers act like it's the only IPA left in the world. Personally, I'd rather put my money towards a sixer of racer 5 than one Pliny

Simple Cheap All Grain (takes some muscle)

    Can Wyeast 3711 Contaminate Equipment?

The only times I've had that happen is when I've bottled a batch of 3711 and racked something into the same carboy without cleaning it well enough. I just figured some of the yeast survived and took off in the new wort. Never had a problem with it in other equipment, though.

Anyone ever succesfully made a tasty Energy Beer?

I've brewed a few with Yerba Mate and that definitely gets your heart pumping. Although, if you don't like the tea to begin with you probably wouldn't like the taste of the beer...

    Wyeast 3711 French Saison

This will be my 5th or 6th different batch with 3711 and they've all turned out great. :mug: I'm currently experimenting with this strain and my IPA recipe. Anybody have experience with 3711 and higher IBU's? Do they play nice?
