    Keystone is my LHBS as well... as mentioned, everyone there is always willing to give a hand with recipes, equipment, etc.

    Labels

    I haven't done much labeling, but i printed mine out on my laser jet printer and headed over to Staples and made a few color copies. The laser printer paper worked great and and trimmed them up and adhered them with a water-soluble glue stick.

    How Important Is A Starter?

    I've seen a few posts noting that the starers have improved the beer quality... how so? I completely understand the lag-time piece, just curious on how the starters have improved the brews. Obviously, I have yet to use a starter! :drunk:

    nah... I guess i was trying to be a little descriptive and clever at the same time! I did actually print these yesterday (printed on inkjet and got color copies made) and affixed with a glue stick. they look pretty cool! (a little tall though... need to adjust my template).

    thanks for the comments! recipe wise, the 3 i've done are extract recipes from the Joy of Homebrewing book. looking forward to playing around more after reading all thing things people on here have been trying!

    I've been lurking around for a while checking out everyones ideas and decided it was time to chime in! I've put together a few labels for my first few brews (which i've been very happy with). The labels are not very traditional and just in case you haven't figured it out... i'm also a guitar...
