    Frick, a double brew day that ended up with me swapping hops between 2 recipes... All the hops for a Belgian Triple went into the APA Yes we made beer, yes we drank beer... now I know what went wrong :oops: Now that really grinds my gears

    I have never heard to open the CO2 bottle all the way to seal it, never had one leak there either Learn something new everyday :mug:

    For me it's either one of these, both noted above Drink water from the far side of the glass by bending over, it's hard but works And the sugar but for me it's a tsp under the tongue and let it dissolve very slowly

    Sorry it's a bit blurry This poor "hopeful" mama hummingbird is working so hard to build her next but using an electrical cord cap wasn't the best idea. Been working at it for over 2 weeks and no where near ready to hold eggs/babies...

    Need clarification on "No brew before the boil."

    The only thing that concerns me about drinking while brewing is how it affects the length of the brew day Start at 8:00am, done by 12:30 and can get other stuff done, start at 12:00 don't get done til 6 and then I'm smashed No different than BBQ'ng, always have something to enjoy

    Thanks Johnny, I'll give that some thought on the next round I didn't capture the yeast, my guess is, it was from White Labs since that is about all I use, so maybe WLP410? As for Lactic/Acid malt, I typically use the EZ Water Calculator and after checking it, ph should have come in at 5.5...

    Harriet should lay another egg today/tomorrow. You think it's amazing now, wait for the babies to be born and watch them grow up for the next several months. They have a chat session that you can join, they do lots with schools... Read the whole back story, it's all totally amazing
