    I started a batch of chocolate stout this past saturday evening, it had an OG of 1.074, i checked the gravity today because it had almost stopped bubbling alltogether and it was down to about 1.020, this seems unusually fast, is this normal or has something gone awry

    For my newest batch of homebrew i was a few bottles short of the usuall two cases, and i discovered that IBC rootbeer is only slightly more expensive than empty bottles from the homebrew store, plus i get rootbeer. is there any problem in washing these bottles out and using them for my homebrew?
