    Grainfather!!

Have to say thanks for all the info in this thread. Lost my job on the east coast found an amazing job on the west coast. Building a brewery in my basement

I would think electric would be the way to go indoors. And possibly less expensive as you wouldnt have to worry about fumes and an overhead fan and duct work. As far as accuracy i know there are some pretty sweet electric systems people have built shown on here maybe they could chime in. Either...

    Adding Carapils to this recipe

Just my 2 cents but i think the recipe looks pretty good and as noted the 2 grains accomplish pretty muct he same thing , why not brew it the way it is and then brew one with the change you asked about. Worst case you have you have 2 good if not great batches of beer what could possibly be wrong...

My Score and a few questions

Just thought id chime in. If you arent into DIY and are comfortable with the price then way to go. I will say Home Depot hass the 10 gallon coolers right now for 29 bucks and i just converted one it was very easy bargainfittings .net made it eesy so either way enjoy

    What is used equipment worth

Why not even if he is a good friend offer to give her a few bucks for use and if he wants them back when he gets home you can just give them back if not come to a fair price then? At least youd get some use and he would know they are being taken care of cleaned sanitized etc,
