    Don't like torrified wheat

    English style pale-ale

    I adapted Charlie Papazian's Good Life pale-ale to a partial mash. I used Mt Hood hops instead of American Crystal, because the HBS didnt have Crystal. When steeping the grains, the temp went way up, but I don't think that will be a huge problem.

    I have Birch Beer extract. I tried the whole deal where you put it in sugar water and add champagne yeast, I wasnt too thrilled. Is there a way I could add it to a beer recipe? Maybe a red ale? :fro:
