    Anyone else have the small BIAC? The biggest element that I can find that fits is 2000 watts and it just took an hour to get to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Home Brew Won't be Served at St Louis Brewers Heritage Festival for 2012

    As a regular volunteer for the festival this is very upsetting. I would love the focus to be on both great Midwestern craft beer and saint louis home brew. Amazing and sad the amount of increasing regulation and enforcement on home brewing as of late.

    Just pitch them in. If it's secondary then the alcohol with prevent what little bugs if any on the fruit from doing anything harmful.

    +1 I would always chill either with an ice bath or IC (immersion cooler) first. I might just pitch it. Bacteria might have gotten to it by now

    That's a great find. If you don't already have the parts this is the way I'd go if I didnt just build mine. I spent about that just filling the parts I didn't have. Again, great find.

    How often do you use yours for meads in primary? I started on the beer side so I have an ingrained fear of oxygenating my must that I am trying to break.
