mine is 2 weeks away from being done. I did brew the three hearted ale clone from northern brewer and it was gone before I had a chance to say SUCCESS. I am ordering one tonight from austin since they are giving 2 pint glasses with every order of the 20th anny beers.

I have been using spring water to good results. I just buy 6 gal on brew day and I am set. no need to pre-boil or any of that good stuff.

I myself have never bottled. I just keg, set pressure to 30 for 2 days then lower pressure to 10 for the rest of the week. I usually am drinking it by day 4.

homebrewing.org usually ships that day. northern brewer is usually the same. austin homebrew took forever on the other hand.

I thought I was going to brew sat night at 6 so I smacked my yeast at 3 then found out I was invited to go bowling and such. I left at 6 and it was completely swollen. I came back around 11 and started brewing. didn't pitch till at least 2-3.

I only have one brew under my belt but I put right in a keg. I had it at 30 psi for 2 days then released pressure to 10 psi and forgot about it for 5 days. after the 7th, I released the pressure to 7 psi and it was ready to drink.

my bad. I should have mentioned I have the chest set at the warmest and the temp controller at 35.

should I have my chest freezer set to the coldest temp or should I have it set to the coolest? I have it set to the coolest and the temp controller at about 35 and it is working just fine. thanks in advance.
