    Some kinds of beer give me headaches...why?

    I feel i am much more likely to have a headache from draft beer then bottle beer. However i usually dont count the extra 4 ounces in a pint glass:)

    Just a nice pale I hope:) I heard a guy from firestone walker at a dinner I was at recently at talk about not using the 60 min addition and just rely on the 20 min for a smoother bite while adding flavor. Not sure I'm convinced but wanted to try. What ya guys think

    This is the grain bill 10lbs 2 row 1.0lbs 60l crystal 0.25 victory 1056 yeast This is what I thought using a 60 min boil 20 mins 1 oz centennial 10 mins 1/2 oz cascade 1/2 oz Amarillo 5 mins 1/2 oz centennial Flame out 1/2 oz cascade 1/2 oz amarillo What you guys/gals think??

    All the beers I have had that use Nelson have a strong B.0 smell. I used them a few times in my ipa thinking it was an infection but one of local brewery here did a NZ ipa and a Nelson ipa and I was overwhelmed by B.O:(( am I the only one??

    I and some of my fellow homebrewers in fort collins use alot of 1056 or dennys favorite. I really like Denny's favorite for my ipa's. Agree with toga on the hops at least around here.

    funny you asked I kegged it last night and chucked in some centennial to dry hop. my final gravity was 1.011. Had a little sample and it tasted great. :mug:
