Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I brewed a batch of this for my "lite" beer drinker friends, who came over for my daughter's first birthday party. They could not finish the keg so I put it in one of my bridges and totally forgot about it. Due to work and other things, I could not make time to brew in the last few months; and...

Using tap water via garden hose?

It is your health, do whetever you see fit. Like jhoyda, I ride and fly, but i fly less since I rent; I also brew with water from my garden hose. BUT. If you are afraid of the amount of lead in garden hose, lets take a look around. All of those plastic kitchenware from China have a lot...

thanks for the suggestions guys! I actually have ingredients for two more batches of Ed's pale ale, I played with the amount of hops with the last brews, but I kept Cascade and Nottingham. I will try a diff hop and/or yeast next time. Centennial Blonde is next on my brew list, I will definitely...

I like Edwort's Haus Pale Ale, what should I brew next?

I am new to homebrew and I brewed a few patches of Haus Pale Ale (original and less hoppy - I like them both;) I have also brewed BierMuncher's Cream of Three Crops, which is a bit mild for my taste. What should I brew next?

    NorthernBrewer Deluxe Beer Starter Kit

newbie here too, and I bought the deluxe kit. I soon found out that the 5g glass carboy is heavy, slippery, and a bit too small for 5.5g batches; and i dont like the caper. I went on and bought 3 more 6g plastic carboys and a bench press caper, then a 2-keg kit from an online vendor AND two more...

    Cold keg ageing? NOOB

DON"T DO THAT! I did the same thing to my version of Edwort's Haus Pale Ale (less hoppy), I ended up with a gal or so when the beer was "good enough" to drink.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

I brewed my third Haus Pale Ale this Monday (AG), but I have not seen any airlock activity yet. I wonder if I should pry the lid open and take a look? btw, I keep yeast in a plastic container in my freezer, would that have anything to do with the yeast?

    Sour Apfelwein

Hi all, newbie here. I bottled 10g of Apfelwein last Sunday (2/20), and I have been tasting it since. It is very clear, very strong, and very acidic; but it tastes a little bit sour. It was a bit sweet when I bottled it, I guest that was the priming sugar. I am curious if it is supposed...

Easiest type of beer to brew for your first batch

I did this https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/bee-cave-brewery-haus-pale-ale-31793/ the PM version; it was easy. I did the all grain version a week later, that was easy too. My temps weren't exact, but my gravity readings were in good range. The hardest part was time, I did not expect that it...
