OK, so I popped the lid on the yeast vial - and a small amount spewed out for some reason. I probably lost 1/8th to 1/10th of the vial. I went ahead and made my yeast starter as usual. Should I get another vial - or do you think the yeast starter will be fine?

OK - in the summertime, I love those big giant Fla-Vor-Ice pops we all had when we were kids, especially the orange ones. Want to make a beer that kinda tastes like that. Have a saison in one of the fermentors now - tempted to just dump an orange Fla-Vor-Ice into that or when kegged. Thoughts?

So does anybody use the kegs with the poppets that you can NOT remove? These kegs are also the ones with no rubber handles at the top - just the steel handle. Do you like having the poppets in place or removable better?

Anybody know any creative ways to cool wort inside? Its getting cold out, and I turn my outdoor water off this time of year, so I cant run the plate chiller. I also have no way of hooking up my hose to an inside sink to do it that way. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Will finally be making the jump to kegging, and have been reading up on DIY kegerators. Looks like ALOT of people recommend the Sanyo 4912. Does anyone know if the 4912M is the same as the 4912? I cant seem to find the 4912 model anywhere - maybe the 4912M is a newer model..?
