    Drinking while Bottling

    So last night I was bottling my Nelson IPA, Nelson Sauvin IPA dry hopped with Chinook, as I was doing so I kept filling up the pint glass straight off the bottling wand. So I'm curious am I the only guilty of such practice? It tasted so good I can't wait until it's carbed and ready to drink.

    Kits

    Hey guys I was wondering how often you make pre-packaged kits as opposed to coming up with your own recipe? I'll be brewing my 5th batch this weekend 2 are recipe's I put together and 3 are kits, Austin's $20 deal was too good to pass up. I was just curious what ratio for other people was. Thanks

    Just tasted my first home brew

    So the wife bought me a beer kit for Christmas. I brewed up a batch of porter, Fat Man Porter recipe from the local brew store here in Gainesville. I bottled it last weekend and held out on tasting until tonight. It's going to turn out really good I think. Still needs to carbonate more and age...
