    crazy question

    i have a question that i think i already know the answer to......does hard cider need to be in brown bottles or can it be bottled in clear or green bottles?.....what i'm asking is does sun light effect the taste of it?

    taste tested

    well it's been in the fermenter for 6 days now .....today i tasted it.....:mug:.....it tasted like warm beer....i guess i'm on the right track.....but i will wait 8 more days before i bottle.......

    Temperature problems.............

    I just don't get it......why does Murphy always have to mess with me...A week ago i put a thermometer where i wanted to sit my fermenter and the temp. was 70 degrees.....and it stayed that temp. for a whole week..so i fill my fermenter and put it in that spot and now the temp. goes down to 65...

    Well....I did it....I got my feet wet.....I pulled out my Mr. Beer kit today and followed the instructions and I now have a batch of WCPA in the fermenter.....It's going to drive me crazy waiting but my mom always said "IF IT'S NOT WORTH WAITING FOR IT'S NOT WORTH HAVING".....So now i wait ...

    Newbie looking for info

    Hello .... Got a kit for Christmas and have a few questions.... Can fermentation be done in total darkness......and does the fermentation prosess generate heat.....any comments suggestions or info will be very helpfull thanks...
