    BIAB thermometer question

    I just got a Blichmann 10 gallon pot and hope to start doing all grain BIAB batches soon. I noticed that the thermometer sticks out in the pot. Will this be a problem puncturing the bag or should it be no problem?

    First starter question

    I'm brewing an AHS Ruination clone tomorrow and I'm making my first starter. The OG should be 1.073 so according to mr. malty I will need two smack packs and a starter of 1.03 liters with intermittent shaking. Is this correct? For some reason I was thinking I could just use one smack pack.

    Papazian Palace Bitter question

    I brewed Papazian's Palace Bitter recipe and this Saturday will be two weeks in primary fermentation. It went from an OG of 1.041 to around 1.010-1.012. Is there any benefit to letting it ferment for two more weeks or am I ready to bottle?
