I brewed a Mesquite Wheat which has been looking great. I was about to keg it last weekend and noticed some kind of "film" across the top, so I decided to wait a few days to see what happened. Not much has changed since then, but I don't know if I should keg or dump. I haven't don't a taste...

Thanks for the reply @gromitdj I just hit the reset button a few times, I get a blink, then nothing for 25 seconds. I tried reconnecting to the ESP connection on my laptop and phone, but I don't get a configuration page.

I did include a yeast boast and maltodextrin.

Funny you mention that, this is my first time using Wyeast 1272 American Ale II. I had a feeling that it could be caused by that, but it feels nice to get the reassurance here.

I have a batch of a Spotted Cow clone fermenting at 5 days in and I noticed something I don't think I have seen before floating on top. Has anyone else seen this, is it infected?

My cousin is a fireman that does a lot of inspections, I can show him the picture if you would like to see what he thinks. Granted, we are in KY, so our regulations are a lot looser I'm sure. But he might have some insight from his perspective.

I had the same problem after about 24 hrs after pitching yeast. An extra 1/4 turn to tighten has seemed to take care of it for me.

Quick update: Got in contact with Jes at FastBrewing, they are shipping a replacement out to me right away. Delayed my brew day a little, but I'm extremely happy with their customer service.
