    I recently took out 2 old bathroon heaters that ran off gas. Both heaters had 20ft of copper tubing connected that the gas ran through. Is it worth scrubing down to use as an simple wort chiller? Would there be a solution i ran run through the copper to clean the inside for a counterflow...

    A buddy gave me an aluminum pot that has a crack in the bottom of it. I took it thinking i could easily "patch" it. I'm really not sure what to use on it. JB weld or ? Would that contaminated the water? I plan on using it to heat sparge water.

    yeast cake like in primary

    I was curious how long the yeast cake would be good sitting in the primary after racking to the secondary. Maybe a day or 2(hopefully). Or how would i save and store it if possible?
