kenmore 4.6 cu ft mini fridge for kegerator?

I was thinking about doing this but I was afraid it wouldn't be energy efficient. Do you suggest others to do the same or is it really not worth it?

    Kenmore 4.6 for kegerator conversion?

I saw that. Not able to remove top but I had the chane to see in in tore model and there was frost build up clearly defining where the coils are. I have a good idea where and gently carving out the foam will give me what info I need.

    Kenmore 4.6 for kegerator conversion?

I just bought that one. I took off the storage compartment on the door and carved out some of the foam. It should fit 2 in there with little modding but it is a squeeze. I will need to take some anxiety meds when it comes time to drill a hole for the tower.

The Big and Easy Bottle Brew

One of my friends actually bought this to see what it was all about. It didn't turn out that bad. I wouldn't encourage people to "homebrew" this way seeing as you don't do anything but add the yeast capsule and wait but I think it would be fun to put my own wort in there and give it to non...

FH Steinbart can be a little intimidating but have lots of things you cannot find at the other places. If you're in SE Portland there is Lets Brew. The lady there can be a little condescending but after she sees you a few times she lightens up. I like HomeBrew Exchange mainly because I work up...

Cleaning Old bottles with mold in them.

I use a 6 gallon plastic bucket full of bleach solution. After I finish a beer I just throw it in there. After it starts to fill up I drain the bottles back into the bucket and just put a tin foil cap on them (no rinse until bottling time).

    When to start drinking?

Some times it will be carbonated after about a week but the flavor needs to mature. If you did a 5 gallon batch you have plenty of bottles so if curiosity is getting the best of you, just slip one in the fridge and give it a try. If it tastes good then it's ready. Remember it's your brew and...

    Can you roast 2row darker?

I was looking up on how to malt barley and roasting. I was wondering; instead of buying a bag of raw grain and letting it germinate then dry and malt, can I just get a bag of am 2 row and roast it?

Absolutey unable to use adjuncts on my system

I am relatively new to brewing so I don't really know what you mean by adjunct here unless you mean the rice hulls. From your grain bill I would assume it's the flaked oats possibly gumming up the works. Before you add in your grains do you have a level of water above your false bottom? When you...

Thank you for the welcome. @KevinW I mash all grain; decoction mostly unless a different technique is called for.
