    My ciders usually ferment quick. This one has been fermenting for over a month. The recipe as follows, 5 gallons of Kirkland apple juice, 2 cans of concentrate, yeast nutrient and a vial of wlp002 English ale yeast. I did not take a gravity reading before fermentation. It has been held at 68...

    I would try fermenting at a lower temperature. 75 to 78 seems high to me. I would go closer to 68

    If you want a dry cider then let fermentation complete, prime and bottle.

    If you are not carbonating it will be fine to use wine bottles and corks. If you are going to prime and carbonate then you should use beer bottles or as suggested, champagne bottles and cages.
