i swear i saw an ad on here for an electrically cooled jacket that fits over a carboy but ive been searching here all day and cant seem to find it anywhere. am i crazy or something?

this beer came out pretty incredible. just drank it this past weekend at the bachelor party and everyone loved it. a tongue bruiser for sure. would love to brew it again if it didnt cost over $30 for the hops alone.

just tasted a sample 3 days after adding the first round of dry hops. amazing!

what im trying with my current IIPA is two different dry hop additions. i read an article in zymurgy about it this month. they say to have shorter contact time with the dry hops and then use a second addition after a few days.

im about 16 hours into fermentation and this beers smells pretty incredible. i drank the sample from my hydrometer tube and it is BITTER!

depends on your yeast strain and your fermentation temperature. 75% is pretty average but i have over attenuated as high as 88%. as long as youre around the 75% mark and your gravity doesnt change for 3 or 4 days you should be alright.

just tasted this one 4 days into bottling. tastes awesome. slightly tart, very subtle spice, great roasty brown aroma. head retention is poor, but i think this will be better once its fully carbonated.
