Venturing into THICCCC BOIIII stout territory, advice requested

What is frustrating is that Brooklyn beer shop doesn't provide you with what the ingredients are. They send a bag of milled grain, a small package of hops and yeast and off you go. I was thinking about using all of the grain to make a one gallon batch, yes.

    Wort chilling options

Question …. I live in an apartment that doesn't have faucets compatible with most wort chiller hookups. Is there an alternative option aside from ice bags that doesn't require prior faucet hookups? Apologies if this is horribly basic.

    Pumpkin Spiced Ale

I actually do still have about 4 12oz bottles left .... I've had a few over the past few days ... still good surprisingly. I figured by this point that they would taste like cardboard, but nope ... delicious!!!

    Pumpkin Spiced Ale

I got the squash idea from Williamsburg Alewerks ... their pumpkin ale (going to be viral this year along with their Cafe Royale) was actually brewed with butternut because of the pumpkin shortage. So, instead of just using one, I justed both. Raw vanilla beans are pretty potent. I definitely...
