    1 Brew 2 different yeasts

I guess this is the day to ask the 2 yeast question. I just posted a similar one, but not starting 2 different ones but waiting till the first stopped before dropping in the second. Good luck, I am interested if this different method may be better, worse, or just different.

Suggestions? Huge Oatmeal Stout - fermentation help

I started a batch of Oatmeal Stout with an OG of 1.074 on 12/5. I would like to get it down to the 1.014 range. It was pitched with a starter of Windsor dry yeast. Same funky taste in every batch

I have had the same thing. After a month in the bottle they were ALL better. After 2 months they were fantastic. The standard "3 weeks aging" after bottling is baloney in my opinion. Minimum 5 on most or 8 if you can wait. The only caveat to this was a Vanilla Porter that was great after 4...

Is it possible to have a hefe batch brewed and ready in 10 days?

Does a hefe benifit from 3 weeks of aging in the bottle or not? I just brewed a Dunkle-Weisen last night and am curious. I also bottled hefe's last Saturday (the 4th).....

Need help with this ginger beer please?

I'm VERY interested in this one. Keep us informed. I loved the ginger idea and used the Lemongrass Ginger Ale recipe from AHS. Everybody here found it interesting and thought we should experiment more with it, but the recipe just needed something different done, particularly with the Ginger as...

Need help with this ginger beer please?

Geez....I tried 1 oz of ginger root in 5 gallons for the last 5 minutes and it aboot burns yer throat. Let me know how it tastes. I also used lemongrass for lemon flavor. It works great without the acid.
