This will be good practice scaling down a recipe for most of you. Good luck and post your 5 or 10 gallon recipes so the rest of use don't have to do any math.
I have the real Pliny recipe from a friend that works for RR. Amarillo is used at 45 and at or near flameout. And also in dh. I think it's used in equal amounts as centennial for the aroma additions. Hope that helps ya.
About 3hours for 10 gallons. The trick is an electric element on a timer. I walk out the door at 8am, mash in immediately, have coffee make breakfast, stroll outside, lauter, boil, chill, done.
I'm interested in this build as I just bought one also. First, are u positive you cannot squeeze a fourth ball lock on the floor? Second, these are supposed to have a thermostat that adjusts up to 50d, making a temp controller unnecessary.
