    Filtering?

    Does anyone run their beer through a filter of any sort when transferring from carboy to bottling bucket to bottle/keg? Wondering if I could reduce sediment by using a filter/strainer. Just curious if anyone does and if so what? :mug:

    lines are short. just a couple of feet. but instructions said to set psi at 12. What I don't understand is why there is beer sputtering from the connection between the keg and the beer line.

    NRS, when do you add the spices? I'm going to attempt using a kit and adding spices but I don't know when to add them. I'm thinking in the last 30 minutes of boiling. Is that close?
