I bottled my first batch- a Red Ale this past weekend. I realize that I had added a gallon of water or so more than I should have. My idea is that I created a lighter flavor and lower alcohol content beer. Is it ruined?
Hey all, new to brewing and I have a question: When boiling your wort, is it necessary to add all of the water (totaling +/-5gallons) or can you just add the remaining water to the carboy later?
