    Advice on a sale

I’m far from an “expert” but I’d guess you would get 300-350 for the whole thing, if you did it as a package. The FFs are probably going to go less than the other stuff, just because there is more risk to the buyer of scratches/ imperfections inside that could harbor infection. The chiller...

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

I use mine with both the 5 and 6 gallon better bottles. I've found that it helps to give them a quick rinse with hot water before using the keg washer on them, and sometimes you need a little patience on really nasty krausen, but I would never go back to washing by hand. Hope that helps. Cheers!

    Replacement Mill Suggestions

I've been looking at the MM, and the Schmidling. I hadn't considered the diameter of the rollers, so I'll have to factor that in. I was leaning toward the Schmidling because of both rollers being driven. I'll have to consider if the larger rollers on the MM. Thanks for the information. :mug:

    Replacement Mill Suggestions

Last year, I started milling my own grain with the AIHB Cereal Killer mill, and after about 30 batches, I'm going to replace it. I was sucked in by the price and am finally tired of the inconsistent crush, sticking, and general bad temperament of the darn thing. The good news is I can...

    My Weldless Build Using Strut

I think I've finally worked the kinks out of my brew stand. I ended up having to lower the burners another inch and a half and move my plate chiller down, since I almost melted a hose. I had some spare 2x1 angle brackets that I turned into handy hooks for hanging hoses, and such. Also, since...

    Other styles with WLP320?

Every summer, I brew a couple of batches of hef based on Jamil's recipe from BCS. Last week, I made 10 gallons, so I am going to have a crap ton of the yeast around. I also coincidentally am going to swap out a couple of pieces of equipment in my brew stand (moving from Bayou Classic kettles...

    My Weldless Build Using Strut

I'm talking about the actual black pipe gas distribution manifold. I'm going to have a 3 banjo burner setup, similar to herc1354's, and I'm debating building it myself, or going to a local propane shop and having them build it. I'm just a bit leery about fooling around with propane. If...

    My Weldless Build Using Strut

I've seen gifty's post, and am leaning toward a similar solution. I was just curious what you had done. Thanks for the reply.

    My Weldless Build Using Strut

I've got 2 of the KAB4 cookers that I'm going to scavenge the burners out of, and the high pressure regulator, so I'm planning to run 30PSI to the manifold. It will be simple enough to switch out the regulator and orifices if I get to the point where I'm going to automate. Once I have the...
