Yeah, we have the same one. It isn't sturdy by any means. My kids knock it down regularly, but it holds drips just fine.

I don't put any drinks on mine, but it holds up my drip try just fine. Maybe yours if made of heftier stuff.

Yep yep, diy at your own risk. Just sayin that most people in this thread are gonna be doing their heating on a stove and this little addition could save quite a bit of time. My first brew day with a heatstick took 3 hours.

I've been using this method for sometime now, and I wanted chime in and say that I've recently built a heat stick, and this reduced my brew session by about an hour. It's something to try out if you're comfortable with the idea of a heat stick.

I used some hot water, and then hot water with oxiclean, and then hooked it up and cranked the co2 to 45 psi, and it still didn't work. I ended up gently poking the valve with an ice pick, and that opened it up just fine.

I think I'm going to try using hot water to loosen it before testing it with co2.

Great, thx for the advice. I'll disassemble and run some hot water through it. Hopefully I'll be able to reassemble it without leaks, I bought it preassembled, so I've never messed with it before.

Well, I didn't even notice the backflow issue until today. I realized that the gas in dip tubes on my pin lock kegs were of variable lengths and some of them were dipping into the beer when they were full. The keg it was hooked up to finished dispensing about 1-2 weeks ago. I'm planning on...

Hrm, it has worked for several kegs, but it could possibly have stuck in between kegs, so I'll disassemble and clean it and see if I can get it working again.

I ordered a 4 tap keezer kit from them a month or so ago, and I received them about seven business days later. All metal parts were very tightly bubble wrapped with no damage to them. All the kegs (8) were a little dirty and dinged on the outside, so I spent a few hours cleaning them both...
