My last couple of batches have an off flavor. Some have said metallic or apple. My next step is to deep clean my equipment. What would be the best cleaner to use?
I just started all grain brewing and I'm looking at buying a new brew pot. I don't want to spend a great deal of money. I would like to spend no more then 225 and would like at least a ball valve. Any suggestions would be great.

I have two five gal buckets one five gal Carboy two six gal carboy's. Bottling bucket, and borrowing wand, auto siphon. I'm looking to make wine from a kit at first.
Does a 1L wine Decanter hold enough wort to make a yeast starter for a OG 1.049 beer? This is my first time doing a yeast starter and every one said to use a 2L starter. Mr. Malty said 1.3 L.
I'm looking to Havest some yeast. Once I have Harvested the yeast and find that it is healthy is there any way to store the yeast for a period of time? I would like to store it for about two months.
I'm trying to use some leftover hops. I have 7lb of light DME and 1 lb crystal 20. The hops I have 3oz Citra, .5 Magnum, .5 Columbus, .5 Saaz, and .5 Tettnang. I'm not really sure how to combine these hops. Any Suggestions?
I want start to Keg my beer. I have a fridge set up the a dual tap. What other then Kegs are needed? What size Hose and connections? It will be a Pin lock set up.

I have been using two diffrent Brew Calculators and I have been comming up with two diffrent IBU readings. Any help would be great.

Do you need to boil the extract before adding to the Secondary to cut down on the chance of infection? I have never used and type of extract. Thanks in advance for the help.
I was thinking of moving it to the Secondary and letting it sit for 3 weeks with the hops. That way I can brew another batch this weekend. I only have one primary and 2 secondary's. I guess I might need to get another primary.
Is it unusual to have your FG reading spot on after a week in the Primary? I'm goign to take another reading tonight then rack to secondary to Dry Hop.

Is it a good idea to store milled grain in the Freezer. I was going to brew this weekend but had somethings come up and won't be able to for a couple of weeks. Any help would be great.
I do all of my primary in a food grade bucket. Is there a problem with oxidation if I leave it to ferment for 3 plus weeks, but no more them 4?
