    I want to add Lemon for Summer Shandy

    I don't think that my dry Kool-ade version needed to be any sweeter, just constantly mixed so the lemon did not all sit at the bottom of the keg, so I would not worry about adding the artificial sweetener.

    Has anyone ever come across a high temp hand pump?

    I would like to have a solution for fighting gravity for sparge water and also moving some wort through a whirlpool/immersion chiller but I don't think I am ready for investing in a March pump. I normally have drunk friends come over when brewing, I don't mind using their drunk muscles.

    Soak or don't worry. The next batch will just chang the style of the odor. Word to the soon-to-be wise... Don't "scrub" your plastic. It is almost impossible to do without scratching. Those tiny scratches can harbor bad bugs. Peace.
