Post a pic--let's see your ugly mugs

Steve Walsh, I think he played in the infamous "monsoon game" back in '94?

Well, the Packers won 1 game so far and the Bears are undefeated... Believe me, we are being punished indeed:off:

Yeah, I also heard that Majik wasn't' quite the people person back then. I put that on the avatar on a whim because I started watching the Packers seriously in the 1989 season where they almost went to the playoffs. Back then we were all waiting anxiously for the Packers to make a championship...

Post a pic--let's see your ugly mugs

It is indeed Hamm's. Went out drinking with my brother in Vegas, he had moved there several years ago. I asked the bartender for a Hamms, my brother looks at me incredulously and asks, and he was serious, "do they still make Hamms?" I said "yes they do." So I asked for a Pabst, and my...

    Hops Seeds

Has anyone grown hops from seeds? Reason I'm asking is because last spring I purchased some hops seeds cheap and I was gonna grow them, but I never got around to it. It had more to do with having to build a hops trellis, which from what I heard would have to be quite solid and at least 7 feet...

I don't think you would be in any danger, but like some have said in this thread, yourl landlord might have some policy against it. Best to check into it first. Also some state/city/county ordinances may have something prohibiting this. A buddy of mine moved into an apartment in Waukesha...

    Twist top bottles

I have a question about the useage of used twist-top bottles from commercial beer to use for home brewing. I read that it is not recommended to use these, that it is preferable to use the old returnable type bottles that require a bottle opener. The reason I'm asking this is I have a bunch...

    1st AG....whew!

Just made up a wort chiller recently and put it to use this past weekend. I observed the same thing you did, it cut the cooling time down by half. Hated to hack up a perfectly good garden hose, but after seeing the results, I felt much better. :)

    1st batch questions

You do need to have some space in your fermenter to allow for the foam that the fermentation process creates. I made a batch of Weisenbier about a month ago, and I was a bit careless to where there wasn't enough room for the copious amount of gas produced. Long story short, my airlock was...

    Hello Everybody

I've started the satisfying hobby of homebrewing on July of this year. Got started by visiting my local homebrew in Green Bay, WI. On my first visit there, I was hooked. I made 7 batches from the "Brewers Best" kits, and am happy with each one of them. I happened upon this site by doing a...
