Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

This is absolutely fantastic news!! Congrats @LBussy!!!! I'm starting to climb out of a little hand grenade that got thrown into my lap over the last week or so, but I'm here to help anyone that builds this project. The platform is incredibly straightforward to build and has been rock solid...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I've been fiddling with RPints for a few days now and I'm wondering if anyone has a working wireless flow meter solution? I saw the older posts about the Photon, and I reached out to @bscuderi but never heard back. I see an older post from @day_trippr where he mentions ESP8266 devices, and...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I've been trying to feel my way through all of this. One thing I noticed in the flowmonitor script was what appears to be a call to flash a .ino file. I've tried to: 1. Load into Particle IDE, but it throws an error looking for a file thats not there. 2. I put the Photon in to DFU mode...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Ugghhh, me and my big mouth. I just forced an update and it went to the 3/12 dev version, rebooted both Fermentrack and the Tiltbridge and is working fine. Thanks @Thorrak!!! Sorry, for the confusion.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Hi everyone, I am getting a fresh deployment of Fermentrack setup and want to use a TiltBridge. I got the Tiltbridge flashed with firmware 1.0.1. It appears to be working fine, I can get at the webamin and it sees my Tilt without any issues. Fermentrack installed without issue as well. The...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Howdy everyone! I wanted to thank @RandR+ , @day_trippr , and everyone in this thread for all of the awesome work!! I'm currently using Kegbot and I'm looking to move away from it. I've got RPints installed and running. I was wondering if anyone can help getting my Particle Photon working? I...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

This is a sort of known issue. It's been reported in this thread and the Esp8266 sister thread. @Thorrak is aware and working on a solution...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

So I have a TiltBridge that was flashed within the last 2 weeks. It can see my Tilt without issue and displays changes on the LCD. However, it is not reporting data into Fermentrack. During the setup, fermentrack discovered the Bridge without issue, but it wont pass data. I've rebooted the Pi...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

If you had Wifi enabled and ethernet plugged into the Pi, you would also see a similar behavior. You'd get two IPs on the Pi and there is a chance that Fermentrack would bind to the first interface that was up and passing traffic (most likely ethernet b/c there is a lag time for the Pi to...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

@Thorrak , no problem. Here is the output: fermentrack@tiltpi:~/fermentrack$ cat upgrade.log ::: Triggering upgrade from branch dev ::: Waiting 1 second for Fermentrack to send updates if triggered from the web... ::: Stopping circus... ::: Updating from git... ::: Updating requirements via...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

@Thorrak thank you for all of your efforts!! I will update later today and report back my findings. For what it's worth, should we take a look at Tilt Pi's code for clues? As I've mentioned, it works without issue on my hardware, where Fermentrack is not. I have a background in IT. I'm not a...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I guess I should have mentioned that I rebooted 3 times and still have the issue. It will get an initial reading as I show in my screen shots. But after that, it doesn't update. I've tested by moving the tilt angle of my Tilt and letting it sit for hours. Fermentrack never reflects the...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

So I am having the same issue and was planning on reporting it tonight when I got up to date with this thread. I ran the instructions that you provided @Thorrak , but the output said "Requirements already up to date / satisfied". Not sure where to turn from here. I have TiltPi installed on my...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

From what I can tell, it seems like an application issue / bug or a mis-configuration. The hardware can see and talk with each other. Other applications work without issue. I'm sure @Thorrak or someone smarter than us will chime in and set us in the right direction. Glad to know it's not just me...
