    Fuller body

Hi all. So the last couple of beers I have been aiming for more body and trying to mash at 68-69 c (154-156f) and the recipe been using has got 1051 hydro reading. The beers didn't or haven't fermented below 1023. They taste very full bodied. The strike water was 75 c (167f) and takes few...

    Kegs

So I want to start kegging and bottling from kegs. Cornelius types are hard to come by here and the brewshop has a 30 liter normal type kegs ( not Cornelius). I have a beer gun that I imported from the states and before I buy a keg I want to know if it's possible to use beer gun with this type...

    Something missing

Hi thanks for the replyThey seem tightly crimped, I've never had problem before, I'm worried that maybe something has fallen off inside the bell that good on the magnetic thingy that I didn't realize was there as upon checking my previous beers the cap is smooth and with this batch there is an...

Capper broken or not? I don't know

Hello, my last brew is still flat and I know it carbonated as 2 bottles were with the grolch style wired caps and they were carved up good but the rest are still flat. Is there something that goes inside the capper bell to even the weight of pressing down that's fallen off or does this look alright?

    Summer wheat

So the missus wants me to make her a beer she would like, I'm thinking a wheat with orange peel and ginger in the fermentors the slight flavouring. Anyone have any experience with these 2 ingredients as in how much to use so the flavouring is there but is not overpowering?

    Pot sor

Hello, I'm checking my cider every couple of days with hydrometer, I want it finished around 1012, I'm aware that potasium sorbate doesn't kill the yeast, that it merely halts the reproduction, if I put in potasium sorbate does the live yeast have enough cells to bring down more points on the...

    Rogue

So last time I went to the supermarket to stock up on London pride I saw they have started stocking a few beers from USA called rogue. Can anyone recommend this beer as it's expensive and don't want to waste money when I could be buying fullers. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew
