Places to fill corny keg in Portland, OR?

Love Migration. Haven't asked them to fill my corny, though. Coalition just off of 28th and Burnside is great too. Good choice on the MPA. Its my favorite there. :mug:

    Anyone have an answer?

    Sanke leak

A friend is having a party Saturday night and I offered to let him use my co2. I have brand new sanke about 6 months old that I have no used (use cornies at home). So, I hooked the lines to it and turned on the gas. With the sanke handle up (so no co2 is allowed out the base), it is leaking near...

    transferring from Sanke to Corny?

My old neighbor fills my cornies all the time from a sanke. HE just opens the cornie and pors the beer in from his picnic tap from the sanke like he was pouring a beer. He also ladels out foam. Then he bleeds off the air, pressurizes and calls it a day. My beer has always kept very well and...

How keep corny cold away from home?

Thanks. I just remembered I have a large soft sided cooler. I will see if that will work. Too bad I can't find a cheap CL jockey box!

How keep corny cold away from home?

I searched but couldn't find an answer. I am driving from Portland, OR to Syringa, ID to meet 9 friends for a 2 day raft trip down the Lochsa :ban:. We are meeting around 3pm the day before the trip and I would like to bring a corny with me for all of us to enjoy that afternoon/early evening. It...

Thanks to all of you for chiming in. I will follow the chart. Great resource! I will bookmark the chart. :mug:
  9. Q

    More co2?

One thing I would like to point out. My corny is not homebrew. It is Widmer Hefe poured straight from the original keg. Do these principals still apply since it was already carbed?
  10. Q

    More co2?

My keg is in the fridge, as is the co2. 38 degrees or so. 30psi still ok?
  11. Q

    More co2?

Ill try kicking up the co2 to 30 and let it sit for a day or 2. Thanks for the info!

    More co2?

Couple weeks?!?!? Who can wait that long?!?!
  13. Q

    More co2?

2 days ago I poured off 5 galons of Widmer Hefe into my corny. It was then put under pressure and the o2 bled off. It has 10lb of co2 now. However, it seems a tad flat and is missing a head. Should I add a lb or 2 of pressure to bring it back? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I appreciate the replies! MAkes me wish I didnt spend the $ on a double gauge regulator.

    Few questions re: co2

THanks guys. How about ideal pressure to pour?
  17. Q

    Few questions re: co2

Then what is the point of a 2 gauge regulator?
  18. Q

    Few questions re: co2

I bought a 5lb tank and just checked my used corny for leaks. When I pressurized it, the pressure read 10psi. What is the ideal pressure to pour from? Secondly, the 5lb tank read 700psi in the tank. 500psi says to order more gas. Is 700lbs normal for a new, full 5lb tank? Thanks!

    Help! Corny won't seal

Should have Googled first. Looks like I need to add pressure, then check for leaks. The lids don't appear to seal well without pressure. Ill do that later tonight and spray some water around the seal.
