    Bottling directly from the fermenter...any reasons why I shouldn't?

    Pro: The way I see it, if I could bottle direct from the fermenter straight to the bottle (using carb tabs), that would leave my bottling bucket available to be used as another fermenter and I can start working on another batch ASAP. Cons: ???

    Activity stopped...then started up again?

    Ale yeast recommendation requested

    What is a good ale yeast to use that works best at the low end of the ale temperature range? My fermenter is located in the basement where is stays a fairly consistent 62-63F. I have been using a heating pad that boosts the temp a couple of degrees but I would rather keep things simple...
