    Broken Hydrometer Q

    So my hydrometer was giving me some funky readings (being lower than a reading the next day etc) so I popped it in some H2O to "calibrate" it was at 1.004 So my questions is this (outside of needing a new one)...is it just 4 points off everywhere or is it .4% off at 1.000 and thus more...

    what to do...starter not ready...
