Demi glace might be worth a shot too. Super concentrated beefiness. Mmmmm. I might have to try this sometime!

Brewing the beer for a Company BBQ, what should I brew?

I vote for a mild or a standard bitter. Low gravity, not too hoppy or intimidating, but still flavorful and beer geeky enough for the craft drinkers. plus, I happen to love traditional english beer :mug:

First Wort Hopping (FWH) - BIAB - when do you remove the hops?

This is basically what I do (with pretty good results). I do a sort of 2 vessel partial mash BIAB. I mash in the the bag (usually about 5-8 pounds of grain). I heat the balance of the water to mashout temps in my boil kettle. I remove the bag from the wort, and sit it in the mashout water...

    Christmas ale mold

maybe posting your process and recipe would help. Obviously something wasn't sanitary. my first though would be spices or something added after flameout (any primary or secondary fermenter additions?)

A day in the life of HBT

Someone showed me that commercial because they thought I'd find it funny. They apparently don't know me very well. I thought it was a stupid clip, and their attempted jab at brewers made them look worse than us in my opinion. Their food sucks anyway!

    Motorcycle tires

Grabber uhp's are good tires. We've installed several sets (on trucks not bikes). No issues. A question though: since they are not a round profile, what happens when you are at an extreme lean angle?

    Star Trek or Star Wars?

in real life, the sliding oor was around before star trek. H.G. Wells was a tad ahead of the Horton's AND star trek... http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/content.asp?bnum=763 and that site is a great way to waste time! :mug: totally agree on firefly too!

    Motorcycle tires

Good thing you checked. I've never mounted a bike tire, but car tires have similar warnings about seating pressure. I think they are there fir the lawyers and idiots that can't use common sense. A lot of car tires won't seat until well above the recommended psi, there is a considerable safety...
