3-wire dryer outlet to 4-wire help needed

Goal: Build a panel that will allow me to plug into the existing 3 wire dryer outlet (i have pulled the plate and confirmed that it is 3 wire and not 4 wire) while adding GFCI AND proper wiring for safety that provides 240v & 120v in my panel. Question: How do I go from a 3wire outlet to a GFCI...

Bottom drain keggle & tri-clamp sight glass

I'm talking about a tri-clamp sight glass. One of these connected to the 2" tri-clamp on a bottom drain keggle and then connected to the pump inlet. http://www.brewershardware.com/2-Tri-Clover-Sight-Glass-TC20SG.html

Bottom drain keggle & tri-clamp sight glass

I'm working on my plumbing and trying to figure out where to place my tri-clamp sight glass. Am I crazy thinking to just mount it to the bottom of the drain before the pump?

    Add syrup to Beersmith 2.1

Thanks for the info! I dissolved one ounce by weight of the syrup into one cup of water and it read 7 Brix. One final question. Is it safe to assume that I can reduce it even further? Ie 1/4 ounce by weight dissolved in 1/4 cup of water? I've got some other syrups I need to measure but...

    Add syrup to Beersmith 2.1

So if it reads 65 Brix the PPG would be 1.026?

    Add syrup to Beersmith 2.1

1.305 is about what I had calculated as well. What seems odd is 1.) Beersmith is showing the SG of Honey to be 1.035 and 2.) I can't seem to enter a SG higher than 1.046 for any adjunct or sugar.

    Add syrup to Beersmith 2.1

I'm working on adding a recipe to Beersmith 2.1 and I've got a syrup that I use in my recipe. When I test the syrup it shows 65 Brix. Any idea how I can convert that to a SG that I can use to create this new ingredient? As an example when I look at the Honey ingredient it lists the SG as...

    carboy and keg power washer

I bought that same pump last week for $29 and it is working great. I ended up grabbing a Menards 5gallon bucket and lid instead of using a wash basin. I'll try to take some picks when I get home for ya. Edit* And at $29 it is cheaper and more powerful than the one at Harbor Freight that is...

Can I use this relay to power/control a 12VDC computer fan?

I'm pushing some other 12VDC devices as well, but here is what I'm using. I had that 4 relay board left over from my previous brewtroller build and would like to use it in this new fermtroller build. I'd like to use 2 fans per relay (2 by the freezer part of the mini fridge, and 2 in each...

Long vs. Short Tri Clamp Ferrule

Doh! Didn't even think about having to bend it back to remove it. I think I might try a 2" short ferrule and a folded element.

    Advise from England please

Euston Tap is a blast. IIRC the guys who started it either were from the US or they went to school in the US. I had a few that night so I'm not 100%. From my last Euston Tap visit The guy in the middle (red jacket) is Tom the manager of The Craft Beer Co. Great guy and loves sour beers...
