For years I thought my IPA's and APA's lacked hop flavor and aroma, until a friend turned me on to Columbus. It is the best hop for flavor and aroma, it is incredable for dry hopping. I recomend it to anyone who is into IPA.
Has anyone used oak chips in their secondary. I'd like to do a bourbon barrel brew without the barrel. I once read that if you take oak chips and char them then soak them in bourbon it is about the same thing. Anyone try this before. Thanks Dave
Has anyone tried the hop Nelson Sauvin and could you descrbe it or tell me what other hop it is close too. I want to try it but have no idea about this hop. I was thinking of making an IPA with it. Thanks Dave
I have been brewing for about 6 years and do all grain and partial mash/extract. I have always used liquid yeast, but have heard lately that dry yeast is much better than it use to be. I'm thinking of giving it a try and wonder if anyone has used dry yeast lately and could give me some feed...
