I have the 7.1 Haire (sp) from Costco. It was $180 out the door. It fits under my bar and will fit 4 ball lock kegs a 5 lb cylinder and an 8in box fan for air movment. Love it.
Sent from my iPhone so please excuse auto-corrects
For a temp tower cooler take a piece of pvc (1 in or so) that will fit in the tower with the lines in it, cap the pvc and fill about 90% or so with salt water, cap the other end and place in a deep freezer, on serving day drop it in the tower to cool. Not a big deal if you are pouring a lot if...
I got the Haire 7.1 cf freezer from Costco, it will hold 4 ball lock legs on the floor. Paid $170. Building it into my bar. And my wife and kidos got me a fat tire neon for the man cave for fathers day!
Just noticed you said refractomerer... I would still check it the same way, make sure to calibrated every once in a while with distilled water, should get 1.000
Could it be cracked? Make a sugar water, measure, double the sugar, measure again, if it doesn't go up get a new one... Live my refractometer... But use I use hydrometer after ferment...
I got tired off f'ing with mine, picked up one from homebrewstuff.com and couldn't be happier.... Great speed control, power for big starters, no issues and never wondering if it was still stiring. Now gonna use the computer fan on the e brewery control.
Awesome..... If the welds are not good take them out and get the soldering spud from bobby m... You have got three good kegs, be cautioned, next thing you know you will have a stainless lined room and be walking around in a lab coat to make beer
I think 20* and I sunk them 3 ft in concrete. I used turnbuckles on both ends and on the deadman. Have got to get my string up this weekend, the chinook already has 4 or 5 feet of growth
Last years growth was awsome, ran three lines per plant and did 2 bines per line at about 15 ft height, so about 90 feet per plant. 2 chinooks, a centenial, a us golding, a willamette, 2 cascades.... Took hours to pick...
Yep, eye bolts drilled on both sides of the pipe, turn buckle hooked to that, cable hooked to that, allows me to tension easily, will post a pic when I get home,
I did something similar, my poles are splayed out at a 20 degree angle, I used turnbuckles to connect the support cable to the poles and another turnbuckle down to a deadman. I priced aircraft cable and holy crap expensive. I ended up getting a stainless dog run cable from walmart for under...
Why couldn't you run two elements off one ssr/contacter, like wall outlets are done. Wire size and supply would need to sized appropriately... Say 2 1500 watts and wire sized for 25 amps, would prob be better to just run a 50 amp 240v.
+1, this is your best bet. Let's say at extream you have 10 gal in the hlt, 10 in the mash, and 10 in the boil and 30 lbs grain, 50 lbs in equip.... That is less than 350 lbs.... I would think good tack welfare would hold that
I have collected all the parts and am ready to wire it up. For some reason I can't see the pics anymore. Awesome build, and was going to use the pics as a reference with one of Pj diagrams. Have the pics been removed?
