    Midwest ever match prices for kegging kits?

    Looking at a few of their items it seems they are consistently higher priced than comparable kits from other online retailers. Has anyone gotten them to come down on price vs. their web site advertised prices? Looking for any first hand details. :) TIA!

    Beer on tip of a cider yeast cake?

    Would there be any issues with this? Currently have 2 batches of cider (one with notty, one with safale) and am wondering about when they are done if there would be any issue with dropping a beer on top of the cake.

    Cobbled together - what should I expect

    I had some various grains leftover in the fridge from the last couple brews, in an effort to get rid of them I brewed this: 6 lbs MO .5 lbs Crystal 40 .33 lbs biscuit .13 lbs chocolate .75 fuggles @ 60 mins Windsor yeast OG ~1.044 1) What exactly would this be? :D I am guessing...
