    Double Starter

    I'm brewing up two batches over the next two weeks. Both recipes call for the same yeast. If I doubled my normal starter would splitting it in half work in both batches?     False bottom too small?

    I just got a stainless steel false bottom for my homemade tun and in my opinion it's too small by about an inch on either side. My question is; should I go ahead and use it anyway?
