    Stock gasket on heater element

    Hi All, I'm installing the element on my eHLT and can't get the lock nut to thread if I leave the stock gasket on the outside of the sanke keg. Do you guys just remove it, or do I need to just muscle that sucker on there? Thanks!

    I just scored 3 sankes. Got the valves out and cleaning the kegs up to cut the lids this weekend. Is there any use for the tubes? Seems like a decent stainless tube to just toss.

    Skin keezer with diamond plate?

    When to move to secondary?

    I've got a Dos Equis clone that has been in the primary for two weeks. There is a nice layer of foam on top and it seems to be doing very well, no funky smells or anything like that. Do I wait until that foam drops before moving to the secondary? Or can it be moved anytime? Thanks!

    First All-Grain batch... Dos Equis clone?

    So I'm planning on doing my first All-Grain batch soon and thinking it will be the Dos Equis recipe from "Clone Brews". The directions say to Mash at 122 degrees for 30 minutes then 150 for 60 minutes. How do you achieve this in a cooler style mash tun? Thanks!
