    So say I have a recipe in beersmith, all I have to do is press the scale button and follow those directions. When you sparge is there anyway to calculate how much sparge water to use?

    Yeah, I think so too. Just from the airlock, once activity started it was going at 10 seconds between bubbles, now a day later its at 5 seconds.

    I threw the packet in there to sanitize the outside of the packet, took the packet out opened and pitched into wort.

    Its hard to say, atleast 100 probably. I filled it from the faucet and didn't realize it was that warm. How much more time should I wait. There is no activity at all, no foam nothing.

    I Chilled wort to 80, poured into bucket and shook around, added top off water. My sanitizer solution was warm, maybe too warm. I put my yeast packet in there for roughly 5 min before I pitched. It has been 48 hours and there are no signs of fermentation. Could the sanitizer solution...

    All bottles stored at room temp for the specified amount of time then just in the fridge until cold. How long should they sit in the fridge? Does that really matter?

    boiled 2 cups of water, added 4.5 ounces of priming suger, heated until boil and boiled for 2 minutes. Poured directly into bottling bucket and siphoned from primary into bucket, once full started bottling.

    First Brew - AHS American Amber Ale

    1 week in the bottle, threw one in the freezer for a bit. It is carbed up with some bubbles in the beer. Tastes great. I am so happy right now with only a week in the bottles its so good!!!! Thanks for everyones help this place rocks

    5 gallon better bottle, not enough room to add more cans, I have to rack or leave it. I am going to rack.
