    Apfelwein Type Bottling problem

    There are non-fermentable sugars you can add at bottling time to sweeten, lactose comes to mind. Also read that adding some splenda at serving can help. Do a search for back sweetening or non fermentable sugars. Fred

    Just made 5 gallons of this last night, followed the original recipe. Already bubblin' happily away in the closet. No rino farts yet... 13,585+5 = 13,590 That 2 gallons of cranberry, and 3 gallons of apple sounds wonderful, might try that next time. Fred

    Add 5 more gallons to the tally, This was my second brew, been in the closet almost a week now, smells wonderful. :) Followed the original recipe, had a real slow start with the Notty. Fred 299+5 = 304

    New guy

    Hiya gang, New brewer here, been lurking here a few weeks, thought I would post to say hello. Got an extract pale ale kit in bottles,(my first brew) and Brandon O's graff in the bucket. :rockin: Just wanted to say hello, and thanks for the great board. Fred
