Need new relief valves, but which type??

Well, I got back on the brewing bus but I noticed the relief valve on one of my corny kegs isn't sealing right. I gunked it with some keg lube and that quieted her up, but I was looking into getting replacements. Two questions: -Best place to get them? -What kind do I get? Micromatic has a...

    Stir Plate Help....

I only briefly skimmed everyone else's replies, so if I'm repeating sorry (too early to read much). I had similar issues with my stir plate when I first tried it. My fan was positioned too low in the enclosure. Moving it up fixed everything.

Alright, really, no rinsing of Star San foam?

Foam is your friend. I just did my first batch using Starsan yesterday and I can tell you that my IPA is bubbling away happily.

    The Exploding Carboy Club...

I don't carry it just by the handle when it's full. Other hand underneath to keep all the stress off the neck.

    The Exploding Carboy Club...

I still use glass and haven't had any problems. But I also don't drink much while I'm brewing, have handles for all my carboys (before that, milk crate), make sure not to fill them with hot liquid, etc. I think they're relatively safe if the proper precautions are taken. Now, having said...

Question regarding shank/beer line quick disconnect

Well, looks like I was right about the washer: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=131 I don't think teflon is necessary though, since the pressure on the washer would seal the line internally to the threading.

Question regarding shank/beer line quick disconnect

Ok, so originally the shanks of my keezer had barbed ends. But through my various acquisitions I now have these beer line connectors that screw directly onto the shank. I proceeded to dremel off the barbs that were there, sand it all down to about 2000 grit for a good seal, and then connect my...

    No gas - AGAIN!

I think you can only assume this if you have check valves on your air lines between the keg and your manifold/regulator.

    No gas - AGAIN!

I only skimmed the responses so far, so if I'm repeating please forgive me. To troubleshoot my system I tried to isolate as many different areas as possible. I have a 4-way manifold split coming off my regulator, with valves on each line. So first I pressurize the whole thing, with no kegs...
