    question about dead space in the boiler

    I have come up with 3qts dead space in the bottom of the boiler. my question is do adjust the amount of water to the mash, or the boiler? I brew 3 gallon batches. or Do I just say my final volume is 3.75 gallons? By the way I am using beer smith 2 for my calculations. Thank you. Mike
