    I have seen these at my lhbs http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/ProdByID.aspx?ProdID=4900 I guess my question is can I keep this is a mini fridge in the basement and run a line up to the kitchen for a tap. I'd use a co2 tank of course instead of the mini co2.

    90 Shilling Scottish Ale

    I just brewed an 80 shilling scottish ale but I carmelized about 20 oz of wort in a seperate smaller pot for about 20 min. It's still in the primary so I don't know how it will turn out.

    Bucket or carboy for primary?

    Thanks guys, that's why I chose the bucket over the carboy. The only thing I was worried about was the level of kraeusen in the bucket because I thought I read that it's bad to leave it in.

    11 qt pot big enough for extract brews?

    The title says it all, the wife and I got a great set of cookware for our wedding shower but the biggest pot I have is 11 qt/ 2.75 gallons. Is this big enough and should I boil water for my primary or just use cold water. I have read both methods but am wondering what you all prefer.
